Gembira Village was founded on 1 Ramadhan 2000, has a market which was built on 1 Ramadhan 2001, before the division was still a hamlet of Teluk Kabung Village.The application for the division of Gembira Hamlet in 2008 and the division of Gembira Hamlet from Kabung Bay on 19 June 2011.The inauguration of Gembira Village on June 19, 2011 and a Pilkades who was elected as the Head of Gembira Village, Mr. Bunyamin, was held. Inauguration of the first Gembira Village Head on 19 July 2011.
